Facilitator Certification Process

Richard Chang Associates' (RCA's) Facilitator Certification Program is designed for those who want a more in-depth understanding of RCA's Packaged Training Programs and how to facilitate them. While certification is not required to train any of RCA's programs, it is recommended for new trainers and is presented upon successful completion of both phases of the program.

Phase One: Observation And Participation

Each "Facilitator Candidate" will go through the entire Packaged Training Program as a participant.

Richard Chang Associates, Inc. (RCA) has designed its Integrated PTPs to include a variety of case analyses, skill application exercises (using actual work processes), personal action planning, and practical reference tools for use on the job. Through the use of step-by-step models and proven processes, "Facilitator Candiates" will learn how participants acquire job-specific skills that have immediate application.

Phase Two: Train-The-Trainer

The "Facilitator Candidates" will walk through the Facilitator Guide with an RCA consultant. This walk-through is designed to develop comfort and confidence in facilitating the program in a way that maintains the integrity of the program design and learning methodology. Facilitator Training information and effective presentation techniques will be shared and briefly practiced (i.e., Facilitator will present a portion of the Participant Workbook to the group).

The Implementation Guide will also be covered highlighting useful hints for administering logistics, establishing measurement processes, and gaining commitment for the intervention from internal and external stakeholders.
