A poorly planned meeting often results in unclear goals and objectives which inevitably lead to other time-consuming, non-productive meetings down the road.  In contrast, a well-conducted meeting that uses proven procedures and tools, actually increases productivity, encourages team involvement, and builds commitment to group decisions.

Learning Objectives 

Upon completion of this session, you will be able to:

  • Effectively prepare for an upcoming meeting, including arranging logistics, establishing roles, creating objectives, and developing an agenda
  • Conduct a meeting using the four meeting roles, ground rules, an agenda, and action-oriented meeting minutes
  • Evaluate and increase your meeting effectiveness, recognizing participant concerns and identifying ways to alleviate them
